I'm a Scorpio
I'm all about transformation and magic and have an almost compulsive urge to learn new things. For my birthday every year I teach myself a new skill - and in 2019 I decided to learn how to make candles. I topped those first candles with a couple of crystals I wasn't using and some dusty old dried flowers and gave them to my family for Christmas presents - from there Monday's Moon was born.

I created the candles I wanted to buy
When I started Monday's Moon, I wanted to make candles that felt magical, and not so overloaded with scent they made me cough. I wanted to make candles with a clean burn, that lasted a good amount of time and burned evenly. My "muggle" job at the time was in international compliance - so I tested, and learned, and tried hundreds of combinations until I found a process which worked for me. I feel proud of these candles and can say with a hand on my heart that they are exactly what I have been searching for.
And just like that, I had a business
I am so grateful for every moment I get to spend working on this business, making it the best it can be. I love to meet my customers, and pack up my car with goodies to sell at markets up and down the country, as well as offer local pickups from my tumbledown cottage on the edge of the woods (I really live the "village witch" aesthetic!)
